POINTZ - WHAT WE ARE
We believe that dancing is a part of a dancer's life to be proud of. It shapes our lives positively in so many ways and is a beautiful artform, which extends us physically, mentally and artistically. We wanted to give dancers the ability to visually express through wear (either subtly or not so subtly), that they are a dancer.
We are a printer of dance inspired designs for street and dance wear. In future, we will be adding a clothing range especially designed for the needs of dancers.
We print using a Direct-to-Garment printer and at this time, source our t-shirts for printing from Dori Apparel. Our preferred t-shirt is Biz Collection's 100% combed cotton tops, which are a good quality and perfect for printing. We pre-treat our tops for improved durability and vibrancy. As pre-treatment on white-tops can create a yellow stain in direct sunlight, we wash white tops as part of the printing process. We are happy to discuss printing on alternative tops, or tops provided by you.
We are happy to incorporate our designs into your own studio's or event's designs, to add names, or to create a design just for you.

I am a dancer - I would call myself an ex-dancer, except I still find myself checking out my fifth aerial position in the mirror, doing a drum when I find myself on a wooden floor and fall asleep making up steps at night. I am proud to be a dancer and while I've never wanted to scream aloud that I am, I've always wanted to have a way to express, even subtly, that I am and always will be a dancer.
When my daughter started dancing, I wanted to create a way for her to express that she (and her dance friends) were dancers and I found a lack of clothing on the market that would do that. Which is why I started Pointz.
Athletes wear sports brands to visually express that they are athletes, even in their everyday wear. Pointz is for dancers to visually express that they are dancers in their everyday wear and for our little dancers to be proud of a part of their life which is important to them (and for them to rock up to dancing lessons in a top that is special to them).
